My Great Experience with Buying Designer Jewelry Online!

Recently I have had the itch again to buy some more designer jewelry. My issue is that I have to buy online, because I live in the middle of nowhere with no stores even close to me. So online shopping is the way that I go, which made it hard for me the first time I ordered, because designer jewelry is such an expensive item. Luckily I have done business with an online retailer before and had a great experience. I received great customer service, the products looked exactly like they did online, so I will be shopping at that place if they have what I need.

This time around I am looking for some different designer jewelry, like: Jamie Joseph, Todd Reed, and Jude Frances jewelry. Of course with jewelry I can always change my mind, I am not stuck on one piece or one designer. My love of designer jewelry only grows as I get older and my only source to view it is on the internet. Since I made that first order, I am happy, because I know there is a retailer out there that I am happy with.

Knowing that designer jewelry is forever changing, I know I am slow sometimes to pick up on the latest trends. I really like Borgioni, Jennifer Meyer, and Sydney Evan jewelry. I have a good idea of what I want, but with the wide selection of fine designer jewelry it is hard to make a firm decision. The purchase is a big purchase and one that you want to make sure you are happy with, because this is going to be part of your fashion for a long time. This is why I am glad there are websites out there that have great reputations and have great pictures on their sites in order to see the detail of the jewelry. Since I had a great experience with this particular company before, I see no reason why I wont again.

Going to the jewelry designer’s site itself and checking out their stuff and seeing if they refer any online retailers, is something that I do a lot. If the designer trusts the retailer to sell their
jewelry, then I should trust them as well. I have checked out Loren jewels, Cassandra Erin, Pomellato Nudo, and I am pleased with all of these sites. All of this jewelry is nice, and I am glad that the online retailer has positive reviews. Both of these things make me happy. So if they continue to sell the items that I like, I will continue to buy them. I hope to continue to enjoy a relationship like this.

Check out Platinum!

Who knew gold would be so valuable this year? It is possible you may have observed on the news the cost of gold rising to record level prices. It rose as high as $1,900/oz., but as of this writing dipped to $1,770/oz.- a cost of $500 more expensive than 2010! One ounce of gold between 2010 and 2011 rose $500 in value.

If you bought gold designer jewelry last year, your jewelry really increased in value! Should you have yet to buy gold, it is by no means too late to buy gold designer jewelry to your collection! Gold will actually rise in value for a long time. The price of gold added $500 per oz. in 1 year - think about the amount of value your gold will keep Five years from this moment. What about ten years? We know gold is becoming a lot more expensive to purchase, but imagine not buying gold today and waiting those 5, ten years from today, since it will only rise further in value.

If you choose not to purchase gold for your jewelry, we recommend the alternative choice to be platinum jewelry.

We will be the first blog out there to suggest investing into platinum jewelry instead of gold jewelry. usually, gold is a step below to platinum, as the precious metal generally trades at a greater price than gold and is far more expensive to invest in in stores. Platinum is trading at about $1,810 as of the writing. This means for 1 ounce of gold and 1 ounce of platinum, the difference is just forty bucks. The evening out of stock pricing will project to the evening of prices differences at retail.

Soon, should you be able to afford to acquire gold jewelry, you will be able to indeed afford to pay for platinum jewelry.

What benefits does platinum carry over gold?

Platinum is a heavier and more dense metal than gold. Because of this, your jewelry will really be much more durable and far more resistant to scratches. Also, diamonds held by platinum will have a much less chance of falling out, as the prongs of platinum are a lot stronger than gold.

Since platinum is much more dense, it's great for everyday-worn jewelry. Most women usually wear platinum rings, platinum bracelets, and platinum earring studs, as the heavier weight just isn't much of a factor. Platinum can handle more accidental hits and bumps than gold without causing significant damage.

Finally, platinum does not affect the skin in particular folks as gold jewelry can. Gold has been recognized to lead to irritation, and possible allergic reactions. Since most gold jewelry is paired with other metals like nickel (Ni) to increase its strength, some people can have a lot more reactions. Platinum, although, has not been known to bring about any skin problems.

Since gold and platinum values are approaching near the same prices within the stock exchange, this means gold & platinum will be approaching a more even cost in the jewelry store; however, platinum will nonetheless hold a premium price than gold. Why? There are greater costs involved to manufacture platinum jewelry because (1) the metal has a more sparse supply under the earth than gold and (2) the machines involved in forging platinum designer jewelry is a lot more expensive to generate and maintain than the processes involved with making gold jewelry.

So if you are out jewelry shopping in the coming months, consider platinum as an option to gold for its density, its style, and it’s high prestige.
